Bridge into the Woods

Along your journey to wellness, you need a good map and a trusted guide. The map can be information about the struggles that you're facing and ideas on how to cope better. My goal with these posts is to help you understand your struggles from the perspective of an experienced, compassionate professional who can help you navigate the challenges you face.

So read on if:

  • You want to know more about what's going on with you and how you can feel better.

  • Your emotions feel unmanageable because of what’s happened to you.

  • You feel alone with your struggles and don’t have people who understand your situation or pain.

Trauma, complicated grief, depression, anxiety, and minority stress from being LGBTQ+ are hard to deal with on your own. If you suffer from anxiety, depression, unrelenting grief, low self-esteem, gender dysphoria, or confusion about what to do next in your life, know that you're not alone.

If you read a post and it helps to see your situation and yourself in a new, healthier light, that can make a difference to you. I want to empower you by showing you that you can do something to help yourself cope with it better. The blog posts are here to help you do that, and to reflect on how you have coped so far.

When you read these posts, you can also see how I work with clients. Then you can better determine whether my style matches your needs. There are lots of posts about what you might be struggling with, from trauma to grief and LGBTQ+ issues. You can use them to explore your inner experience and to see whether you should make an appointment. If you want to email me now, click here or...
